Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a Night Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You’ll be key on keeping our kitchen and backstage areas spotless.
What you’ll do…
* Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
* Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and food preparation areas.
* Deep-clean kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers) as per cleaning schedules.
* Ensure waste bins are emptied, cleaned, and relined regularly.
* Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
* Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE as required.
* Report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
* Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed and signed off during the shift.
* Organise and store kitchen equipment properly after cleaning.
* Ability to work efficiently and independently during night shifts.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
