Operations Shift Leader
Crewe, Cheshire - onsite

Salary: up to £29,298.17

We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Operations Shift Leader to bring energy and drive to our team.

Position Summary

As the Operations Shift Leader you will be managing a team of warehouse operations colleagues with the responsibility for managing the Customisation and Despatch teams. The role will entail planning and coordinating daily workloads to ensure that all resources are aligned to deliver our customer requirements and to assist in providing a working environment which is safe and without risks to health.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Reporting into the Customisation and Despatch First Line manager the expected working pattern will be on a weekly rotational basis Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 and 13:00-22:00.

2. Planning work and resource within the department to ensure all production/orders have been completed within SLA.

3. Ensure processes are being followed and recorded ensuring high quality experiences for our internal and external customers.

4. Identifying areas of improvement and providing solutions to ensure continuous improvement.

5. Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) through the effective use of resources, equipment, and information. Key indicators relate productivity, accuracy, absence and collective departmental KPI’s.

6. Ensuring that individual performance is maintained at a high level through effective leadership, motivation, and personal example.

7. Ensuring all documentation, reports and statistics are completed and where required.

8. Coaching, training, and development of colleagues within the team.

9. Ensuring that any conduct, absence or timekeeping issues are managed effectively.

10. Respecting the value of information by following Likewize's data protection/information security policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:

11. Previous team management experience (desirable).

12. A solid understanding of warehouse/distribution principle and procedures.

13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

14. Proficient with Microsoft office
