As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Care & Support division, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care that meets all Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulations. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive strategic business growth and ensure alignment with the company’s vision and mission. Key Responsibilities * Service Delivery: Provide tailored services to adults with learning/physical disabilities, senior adults, and those with complex care needs in supported living and home settings. * Strategic Growth: Contribute to the strategic growth of the Care and Support division by exploring new markets, developing innovative solutions, and aligning business plans with company strategy, in collaboration with the Business Development Manager. * Networking & Collaboration: Attend provider meetings and conferences and engage in networking activities to build collaborative relationships and stay informed about industry trends. * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including the Health and Care Act 2022 and CQC standards, while staying updated on legislative changes. Maintain comprehensive records and evidence to demonstrate compliance. * Leadership & Management: Provide effective leadership by setting clear performance expectations, offering support and mentorship, and fostering a positive work environment. This includes overseeing team meetings, supervision, appraisals, KPI’s, training, and participating in recruitment processes. * Staff Development: Ensure comprehensive induction, training, supervision, and ongoing support for all care staff in community settings. * Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor person-centred care plans and risk assessments and maintain an effective quality assurance program for continuous service improvement, ensuring high standards of care. * Safeguarding Lead: Serve as the Safeguarding Lead for ENS Care and Support, ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are rigorously implemented and adhered to. * Reporting: Manage all reporting duties, including CQC notifications, safeguarding alerts, RIDDOR submissions, KPI tracking, and financial forecasts. * On-Call Duty: Fulfil the on-call manager role during out-of-hours, alternating weekly shifts. The role will also involvce aspects of Marketing collaboration and financial management Essential Skills and Qualifications * Experience: Minimum of two to three years of experience as a Registered Manager within Home Care Services. * Education: A Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. * CQC Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, requirements, and guidelines, with a proven ability to implement and uphold them effectively. * Adaptability: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Leadership: Strong leadership, managerial, and interpersonal skills with excellent communication abilities. Monday to Friday 35 hours per week (alternate weeks on call). Basic salary £45,000 plus bonus and benefits.
