The team operates 24/7 with a walk-in service to ensure ease of access for service users. You will join Navigo Acute services at a time of change and development, with opportunities to develop skills and undertake training in psychological interventions, including the CAMS program (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality).
Main duties of the job
The Senior Crisis Practitioner will work within the Crisis Home Treatment Team, responsible for initial assessment, care planning, evaluation, risk assessment, management, and safety planning. The role involves working on a 24-hour rota, including weekends and nights, acting as site lead out of hours, overseeing and supervising other areas of acute services when required. You will work both independently and as part of a team, managing caseloads from first contact to discharge, supervising junior staff and students, and providing training to the team and wider services. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, inpatient services, and families/carers.
