We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class within a reputable Primary School in Fulwood.
This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about building children’s confidence and supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with small groups of pupils, helping to bridge gaps in learning while providing a nurturing and encouraging environment.
We are looking for a happy, positive individual who approaches teaching and learning with a supportive and caring attitude, and who can help pupils feel confident, engaged, and ready to learn.
Role Details:
* Start Date: September 2026
* Contract: 12-month fixed term
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
* Pay Rate: From £14.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting small groups of pupils to close gaps in learning
* Delivering targeted interventions
* Supporting pupils with speech and language needs
* Building confidence and supporting pupils with SEMH needs
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and/or speech and language needs is highly desirable
* A nurturing, positive and proactive approach
