Job Details:
1. Pay: £12.71 per hour
2. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm
3. Duration: Temp (3 months), permanent contracts then available
4. Benefits: Ongoing free training, pension, permanent positions possibly available after qualifying period, paid breaks
Job Role: The Hygiene Operative will be responsible for cleaning all areas within a busy food manufacturing environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times. Duties include deep cleaning in high-risk areas, operating a MEWP (full training provided), and using industrial cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers, industrial vacuums, and sweepers. The Hygiene Operative will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and supporting production operations.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
5. Previous industrial cleaning experience
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment
7. Good understanding of hygiene standards
8. Willingness to undertake training including MEWP operation
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
9. Previous experience using industrial cleaning equipment
10. Food Hygiene Certificate
