Summary
Are you an experienced project management professional with technical and ICT knowledge? Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the largest non-metropolitan Fire and Rescue Service in England, is on the lookout for a Technical Project Manager to join our Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) team at our Service Headquarters in Exeter. This position is available on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2029, working full-time (37 hours per week) and offers a competitive salary of £48,226 - £51,536 (gross) per annum.

As our Technical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of complex ICT projects – specifically our Emergency Services Network (ESN) project. You will manage scope, budgets, risks, resources, suppliers and stakeholder engagement – ensuring a successful delivery and end result.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading on the delivery of our Emergency Services Network (ESN) project to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
* Managing project governance, reporting risk, and financial control.
* Influencing key stakeholders and Project Boards
* Coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers
* Ensuring solutions align with organisational strategy and statutory obligations
* Overseeing communications and change management to support successful transition into business as usual.
This is a role requiring strong leadership, technical insight, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
