Are you a strategic and operationally strong Cluster Premises Manager ready to lead premises services across a group of schools from January 2026? An established education trust in Bradford is recruiting a Cluster Premises Manager to drive compliance, manage budgets and lead multi-site premises teams across Bradford. The Cluster Premises Manager will develop a cohesive premises strategy across the Bradford schools, manage contractors, oversee statutory compliance and be accountable for premises budgets and improvement projects. This Cluster Premises Manager role starts January 2026, with a structured induction and handover prior to January 2026 so the successful candidate can plan capital and maintenance priorities across the Bradford cluster. Position details Role: Cluster Premises Manager — Bradford Start date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent / Full-Time (multi-site responsibilities) About the role The Cluster Premises Manager will lead premises teams, coordinate maintenance programmes, ensure all Bradford sites meet statutory requirements (fire, asbestos, legionella) and manage contracts and supplier relationships. You will prepare and monitor premises budgets, tender for works, oversee capital projects and provide timely reporting to trust leadership. The role requires a strategic operator who can combine hands-on premises knowledge with clear documentation and team leadership across Bradford. Key responsibilities Design and implement a multi-site premises plan, prioritising safety, compliance and cost-effective delivery across Bradford. Commission and manage contractors, tender projects and oversee the delivery of planned maintenance and capital works. Ensure statutory compliance and keep accurate records of testing, inspections and risk assessments for all Bradford sites. Lead, develop and line-manage site teams across the cluster, allocating resources and delivering training. Manage premises budgets, produce financial reports and recommend investment priorities. Person specification Substantial experience in premises or facilities management with multi-site responsibility and a track record of delivering projects. Deep knowledge of statutory compliance, H&S regulation and premises legislation relevant to school settings across Bradford. Strong leadership, procurement and budget-management skills; organised, pragmatic and available to start January 2026. Excellent communicator able to work with senior leaders, governors and external contractors across Bradford.
