This is a term time only plus 2 weeks contract. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic. Working for North Yorkshire Council as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the opening and locking and security of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor repairs, and replacing consumables. You will support the training and development of the Cleaners on site as well as assist with cleaning duties as directed. Full training will be provided. The hours are between 07:00 to 08:00 and 18:00 to 18:30 daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 7.5 hours per week over 5 days. For this, you will be paid £12.85-£13.47 per hour. No weekend work! What can we offer you?
