Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team.The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and maintaining an organised work environment. This position requires a blend of clerical expertise, strong computer skills, and excellent phone etiquette to effectively manage day-to-day office tasks.
Please note we will require you to work 2 saturdays a month from 8am-12pm.
Duties
* Manage and maintain office supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Handle incoming calls and correspondence, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
* Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all records are organised and easily accessible.
* Support bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoicing and tracking expenses.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve office efficiency.
* Provide clerical support as needed, including typing letters, memos, and other communications.
* Booking in new customers and taking payments
* Social media sales advertising
* To cover sickeness and holidays
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential; administrative experience is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
