Desktop Engineer
Location: Guildford (Onsite)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum

As a Desktop Engineer, you will be the go-to point of contact for technical issues, responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining devices, and ensuring smooth daily operations for users.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver face-to-face and remote desktop support to internal users.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network-related issues.
3. Build, configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
4. Support Office 365, Windows 10/11, and common business applications.
5. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and procedures.
7. Provide excellent customer service with a user-first mindset.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a desktop support or IT technician role.
2. Strong understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
3. Experience with Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting.
4. Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITSM tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Clear communication skills and a proactive attitude.
