Job Title: Bioenergy Process Engineer
As a Bioenergy Process Engineer within an Energy Conversion team, you'll play a vital role in developing and optimizing innovative systems and technologies for producing renewable biogas and biomethane.
TGRC has been exclusively engaged by a UK leading developer, owner, and operator of Bioenergy & AD Assets in the UK.
In addition to its existing portfolio, the business has a robust project pipeline to develop and construct 15 further plants, 6 of which are currently under construction. Each project is valued at approximately £25m.
The team comprises renewable energy & bioenergy professionals, and they seek an experienced Process Engineer to support their growth.
Responsibilities:
* Utilize advanced process simulations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
* Apply knowledge of gasification, pyrolysis, combustion, and other energy conversion technologies to develop innovative solutions and optimize processes.
* Conduct on-site evaluations, data collection, and analysis to identify operational challenges and develop solutions.
Requirements:
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, supporting and coordinating staff.
* Knowledge of design and construction of above and below-ground assets in the gas sector.
* Proactive, ownership-oriented, and adaptable to flexible working arrangements.
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
* Proven experience in designing and optimizing energy conversion processes.
* Strong command of engineering tools such as Aspen Plus and HYSYS for thermodynamic analysis, flowsheet modeling, and equipment sizing.
