Our lawyers provide national coverage for a blend of corporate, insurer and public sector clients. You will be part of a team supporting Associate by preparing and progressing cases from their early investigative stages, through the enforcement process, and ultimately, to conclusion before the Criminal Courts.
About The Role
Your role will involve everything from attending site in the immediate aftermath of a serious incident, taking clients' instructions, drafting witness statements, obtaining expert's reports, instructing Counsel, drafting letters of advice and representation, liaising with the HSE, Local Authorities and Police, and attending at the Magistrates', Crown and Coroner's Courts.
An unwavering attention to detail needs to be combined with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. IT literacy and a willingness to travel throughout the UK will both be essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with a case load of SHE & Regulatory claims
* Preparing court bundles
* Drafting letters of instruction, requests, Instructions to Counsel
* Preparing briefing notes, action plans, file notes and attendance notes
* Reviewing reports and statements and other relevant documents
* Drafting and reviewing documents
* Liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism
* Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices
* Managing day to day deadlines with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ensure files and spreadsheets are maintained and updated
* Adhoc tasks as required
About You
You will be working within a team filled with legal professionals working in an engaging and friendly environment. We're looking for people with excellent communication and organisational skills, and an ability to work well under pressure. You will be focussed on delivering a highly professional service to clients, including compliance with client SLAs and MI requirements. Previous experience of assisting or managing your own caseload is beneficial and experience of personal injury litigation would be desirable.
