Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Berkshire that is urgently seeking to appoint a Head of Business to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Business Studies teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career or an existing Head of Department looking for a new challenge in a supportive and high-achieving school.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
* Previous leadership or management experience (preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Business Studies department
* Develop and deliver an engaging, ambitious curriculum
* Support and mentor staff within the department
* Track and analyse student progress and implement effective interventions
* Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
