As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, working alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide individualised care.
What We're Looking For:
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Child DBS on the update service
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to be adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic classroom setting.
* Previous experience in an SEN environment is a plus, but not essential - we welcome applications from dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, both individually and in small groups.
* Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
* Supporting students with their social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
* Assisting with personal care and mobility as needed, ensuring the well-being of all students.
* Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessments.
* Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
* Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
