Overview
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is recruiting an Estates Electrical Maintenance Craftsperson to work within the Estates Team at County Hospital. You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital. The candidate will have experience of electrical maintenance repairs and services and be trained to City & Guilds Craft Level or equivalent. You will be stationed principally at County Hospital working 5 days a week Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, but may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by the UHNM NHS Trust and you will be required to carry out on-call duties. In addition to the band 4 salary, an R&R premium will be paid.
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and repair to the hospital’s electrical services.
* Work within the Estates Team and provide support to other tradesmen within the department.
* Be stationed principally at County Hospital with potential cross-site duties across UHNM NHS Trust sites.
* Participate in on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
* Experience of electrical maintenance repairs and services.
* City & Guilds Craft Level or equivalent qualification.
* Effective team worker with the ability to support other trades within the Estates Department.
