Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
* Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
* Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* Good time management abilities to ensure timely service during peak hours.
