National Sales Manager – Surgical & Endoscopic Medical Devices

We are currently partnering with a global manufacturer of advanced surgical energy and endoscopic medical technologies is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead commercial strategy and team performance across the UK market.
This is a high-impact leadership role that blends people management, key account development, and strategic execution. We’re looking for an experienced sales leader with deep knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape and a strong track record in the medical device sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing UK sales team
* Drive national commercial strategy across NHS and private hospital networks
* Build and strengthen relationships with surgeons, endoscopists, procurement, and clinical stakeholders
* Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for growth and product adoption
* Support sales team in complex tender processes and contract negotiations
* Monitor sales performance and implement action plans to meet or exceed targets
* Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, marketing, and service teams
* Represent the company at national trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops
* Ensure compliance with NHS frameworks and industry regulations
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
* 5+ years of sales leadership experience within the medical devices sector
* Background in endoscopy, surgical energy devices, or operating theatre environments preferred
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing national or regional teams
* Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and strategic planning skills
* Comfortable with regular national travel
