Summary
Freedom Professional Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Utility Surveyor. The successful candidate would have strong experience undertaking surveys within a variety of industries and locations. Knowledge of PAS 128 is essential, and the candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in the use of utility detection instruments, location instruments, and have the skills to post-process the data for production of a detailed utility survey.

Role Details
This is a Hybrid role with regular Home, Site, and Office work. Key responsibilities include:
* Produce detailed PAS 128 compliant surveys and accurate information for analysis by planners, builders, and cartographers.
* Utilize equipment such as electromagnetic locators, GPRs, GPS, TS, and conventional methods in surveys.
* Resolve practical planning and development problems on site.
* Verify and validate information before handing over to other professionals.
* Interpret data using drawings, maps, charts, and plans.
* Use CAD and other IT software to interpret data and present information.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies.
* Verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
* Monitor and interpret contract design documents.
* Produce reports in line with project requirements.
* Address technical difficulties and problems promptly.
General Responsibilities
* Collaborate with project personnel to ensure quality and safety standards.
* Support the business and organizational objectives.
* Undertake tasks assigned by the Survey Manager.
Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced, forward-thinking, and dedicated Senior Utility Surveyor. Qualifications and experience should include:
* Experience with electromagnetic locators and ground-penetrating radar.
* Experience with GPS and Total Stations.
* Experience in utility and CCTV surveys.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
* Experience supervising small teams and resolving issues effectively.
* Knowledge of survey software like n4ce, IQMaps/GRED HD, or CCTV software is desirable.
