Recruitment Manager / Talent Acquisition Manager @Willmott Dixon | Human Resources (HR)
Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Senior Project Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join our central Strategic Accounts and Services Team (SAS).
As the successful applicant, you will develop and implement commercial subcontract agreements and supply chain strategies across Willmott Dixon Construction.
Reporting to the National Supply Chain Lead, you’ll work closely with Commercial, Preconstruction and Supply Chain teams, demonstrating your ability to deliver value, drive efficiency, and reduce waste across our supply chain.
You’ll support the SAS Team in developing a national supply chain strategy for our schools’ design platform. So prior experience with the Department of Education Construction Framework (DfE) and aligned supply chains would be highly beneficial.

We support hybrid working. As the role is national, you must be willing to travel. Regular visits to our Hitchin office for team meetings will be required, alongside flexible homeworking.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, genuine career development opportunities, and most importantly a great place to work with a real family ethos.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement commercial subcontract and material agreements.
* Manage supply chain relationships to meet business objectives and improve productivity.
* Provide feedback to enhance future design specifications.
* Support internal tender launches and inception workshops.
* Maintain strong market and sector knowledge, including subcontractor capabilities.
* Analyse and report on subcontractor costs.
* Understand and apply strategic procurement and modern methods of construction.
* Prioritise and coordinate workload to achieve business targets.
* Lead negotiations and maintain strong communication.
* Promote "Live Activity Schedules" from preconstruction for supply chain forecasting.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
* Proven technical expertise in surveying, estimating, and procurement within construction.
* Experience establishing commercial or framework agreements with supply chain partners.
* Ability to build and influence strong relationships internally and externally.
* Ability to monitor and report on multiple projects simultaneously.
* A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Degree in Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a relevant discipline.
* Membership (or working towards) a relevant professional body e.g., RICS or CIOB.
