We are looking for an enthusiastic, full-time Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our East & South Cheshire Learning Disability Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service (CYPMH). Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire. We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton and Liverpool. We also provide specialist services for the North West as a whole.

Main Responsibilities
* Manage a defined clinical caseload of children and young people aged 0–18 who have mild to moderate learning disabilities and present with behaviours that challenge, working within our multidisciplinary 0–18 CYPMH Team.
* Operate with professional autonomy whilst engaging collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
* Provide consultation and guidance on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), drawing on your specialist knowledge to help support children and young people with learning disabilities.
* Act as a champion for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within the team, promoting greater awareness and understanding, and supporting an inclusive approach to care.
We also offer up to three weeks’ induction, with our Prepare to Care programme for all new starters. This aims to give you all the knowledge and guidance to help you hit the ground running with CWP.
