We’re hiring an IT Manager to lead and scale our IT operations across a globally distributed, remote-first team. This is a strategic hire to take ownership of IT security, infrastructure, automation and support - removing friction and enabling productivity at scale. What You'll Own 1. Infrastructure & Operations Administer our Google Workspace domain, ensuring system integrity and user access. Implement and manage a licensing solution for all software. Optimise device procurement and implement and maintain MDM, reducing long-term leasing costs, and ensuring control of hardware. 2. Security & Compliance Enforce cybersecurity best practices (e.g. SSO, MFA, IAM). Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 and other standards. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. 3. Automation & Efficiency Automate key workflows (onboarding/offboarding, access). Introduce an ITSM tool to manage and triage support requests (e.g. Jira or Notion). Drive cost-efficiency in cloud and SaaS. 4. Support & Service Management Provide responsive tech support across time zones. Track and improve IT service performance metrics. Deliver a frictionless employee onboarding/offboarding experience. 5. Software & Access Management Implement and manage SSO integrations across systems. Maintain real-time visibility over access and license usage. Regularly audit permissions to reduce risk. 6. Business Continuity Create and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans. Ensure 24/7 access continuity for all business-critical tools. 7. Vendor Management Oversee all SaaS, cloud and IT vendors. Evaluate new technologies that align with business growth and budget. Expert in Google Workspace, including hands-on automation using API’s. Proven experience with MDM, SSO, IAM and device lifecycle management. Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2). Experience with automating IT workflows and deploying ITSM tools.
