Founded by two brothers with a view to pairing tutors with technology to help students achieve their personal goals, we are headquartered in London and have grown to a 40-strong team split across sales, marketing, tech, and operations.
We work predominantly in a B2C capacity and connect students, typically 16-24 years old, and/or their parents with professional private tutors to help them get the results they need to progress in life. We also have a small number of B2B clients, including the University of Cambridge, Oxford, and Imperial College London, among others.
Last year, we connected over 10,000 students with our 1,000 freelance tutors. They use our web-based platforms to have, administer, and pay for online classes, and we take a percentage fee. Over 90% of our survey respondents report achieving their desired grades and gaining entry to their preferred universities.
We are the highest-rated tutoring company on Trustpilot and have received numerous awards, including British Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes 30 Under 30, the UK’s top tutoring company, and best Edtech company.
Our growth has been driven by successful digital marketing efforts. Performance marketing is central to our strategy, and we are fluent in its language. The Profs has established itself as the gold standard in professional tutoring. Our goal beyond 2025 is to expand awareness of the life-changing results we deliver.
