We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team at Pugh's Garden Village, Wenvoe. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are consistently delivered. Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef with day‑to‑day kitchen operations
* Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
* Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and presentation
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
* Assist with menu development and seasonal offerings
* Support stock control, ordering and waste management
* Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie
* Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Flexible and reliable, able to work weekends and shift patterns

Compensation & Hours
Hours: Full‑time, shift pattern over 7 days (Monday–Sunday) with occasional late‑night during peak season. Salary: From £13.87 per hour (£27,046.50 per annum), paid monthly.
