This is an exciting opportunity within Dorking Healthcare to join an expanding outpatient service. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to work with a team of dedicated physiotherapists and consultants to deliver a high standard of care to the local community. DHC is a GP Federation, representing 275,000 patients, providing a wide range of high-quality healthcare services, including elective care, Talking Therapies, community healthcare, and primary care across Surrey. We are registered with the CQC and are an accredited AQP. DHC is at the heart of the local health system, working to evolve and deliver integrated care, which requires strong partnerships with many organisations. In all of our services, we aim to put the patient at the centre of their care, ensure our services are easy for local patients to access, and reduce waiting times. GP practices have been brought together into Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to offer services in the local community. There are 7 Primary Care Networks that are part of the DHC Federation.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and contributing to service delivery. Provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to musculoskeletal outpatients referred by DHC consultants. Conditions will include a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including post-operative orthopaedics, arthritic conditions, and patients presenting with acute, chronic and/or complex spinal pain. The role includes involvement in an expanding Women\'s Health service (experience in this field is desirable but not essential).
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience at band 6 or band 7 level (or equivalent)
* Desirable: membership of POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy)
