Salary up to £68,000 DOE plus a welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation allowance up to £5,000.

Here at Amical Veterinary Centre, we are looking for a professional and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate must be confident in both consultations and all routine surgeries. We see all usual first opinion cases and are looking to develop our cardiac offerings in the near future.


About the rota

We offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life. We can offer flexibility that actually works for you.

The rota currently involves working Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm with no out of hours or Saturdays (weekends are subject to change).


Practice Overview

We are a busy small animal clinic, based in March, a small market town in the Fens just a 20-minute drive from Peterborough. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional client and patient care. The practice is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental equipment, 3 consult rooms and a nurses room. In addition to this we have a designated pharmacy, theatre, and dental area.


Team Structure

We now have 1 FT Vet - our lead Vet who has a passion for Cardiology. He is supported by a team of 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, an Animal Care Assistant and 4 receptionists. We hope to welcome our new colleague who has fresh ideas and a passion for exceptional patient care to join our friendly team.

As a practice we support many charities in the local area, such as Merrylegs, RSPCA and Cats protection.
