About The RoleWe are looking for experienced, bread and butter Business Analysts who bring rigour, structure, and discipline to requirements gathering and analysis. This is not a role for someone who wants to operate at 30,000 feet. We need analysts who roll up their sleeves, sit with stakeholders, run workshops, and produce clear, well-structured, testable requirements that delivery teams can build against with confidence.You will be embedded within one or more project workstreams within the Cyber Uplift Programme, working closely with Delivery Leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders across multiple operatingpanies. You must befortablemanding a room, facilitating workshops, and challenging vague or conflicting requirements until you reach clarity.Political savviness matters. You will be operating across different business units with different priorities and personalities. The ability to build relationships, navigateplexity, and present information clearly to senior stakeholders is essential.Contract – 6 months (possibility to extend)Location – Waterside (UB7 0GB)Hybrid – 1–2 days per week onsitePay – attractive daily rate (Inside IR35)Key Responsibilities
1. Own requirements end to end, from discovery and elicitation through to sign off and acceptance
2. Engage business, cyber, and technical stakeholders to capture accurate,plete requirements
3. Write clear, structured, segmented, and testable requirements that follow proper due diligence and can withstand scrutiny.
4. Ensure all requirements are peer-reviewed with other Business Analysts on the programme before sign off.
5. Maintain full requirements for traceability from discovery through to delivered oues.
6. Provide clear mapping of as-is and-to-be solutions, ensuring the delta is well understood
7. Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand the current situation, pain points, and metrics for improvement.
8. Plan, facilitate, and lead workshops, interviews, and working sessions,manding the room and driving oues.
9. Support UAT planning, scenario definition, and execution, ensuring acceptance criteria are clear and traceable
10. Contribute toernance artefacts, design sign-offs, and stage gate reviews
11. Act as the bridge between delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical and functional deliverables.
12. Break downplex problems into clear, actionable, and prioritised requirements
13. Prioritise requirements in line with delivery plans and risk reduction objectives
14. Maintain requirements change control, ensuring scope changes are documented, assessed, and approved
15. Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritisation
16. Work closely with Delivery Leads to shape scope, sequencing, and delivery approach.
17. Support defect triage by clarifying intent and acceptance criteria
18. Document all decisions, assumptions, and constraints clearly and accessibly
Skills And Experience
19. Proven track record as a Business Analyst on large scale technology, security, or infrastructure delivery programmes
20. Strong, demonstrable requirements gathering and documentation skills. Structured, segmented, testable, and signed off
21. Experience facilitating workshops and working sessions with senior stakeholders. Able tomand a room and drive to oues
22. Ability to navigate politicallyplex environments and build trusted relationships quickly
23. Experience presenting analysis and requirements to senior leadership where needed
24. Strong understanding of requirements traceability, change control, and proper due diligence in requirements management
25. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and standard BA tooling
26. Experience working within structured delivery frameworks andernance models
27. Experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) or Customer Authentication plex front end and back end integration) is highly advantageous.
28. Experience in cybersecurity or identity related programmes is a strong plus.
