Job Overview
We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide temporary cover within a care service in Wales. The role involves supporting adults with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about care and looking to gain experience within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality person-centred support to service users
* Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
* Support individuals with community access and social activities
* Maintain accurate records and complete daily notes where required
* Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing at all times
* Build positive relationships with service users and staff teams
* Follow care plans, risk assessments, and workplace policies
Requirements
* Previous experience in care/support work preferred but not essential
* Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends if required
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable
* Manual handling training
* Medication administration training
* PMVA/MAPA or behavioural support training
* Driving licence (if applicable)
