Job Title : Operations Manager
Location : Lisburn, Northern Ireland - Office-based with site visits as needed
Salary : £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + bonus
Dunwall is delighted to be working with a profitable, growing business to appoint an Operations Manager. It's a unique opportunity to take ownership of operations and play a key role in the company's next stage of expansion.
The business has an excellent reputation for delivering reliable solutions to commercial and public sector clients across Northern Ireland.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, making sure projects run smoothly, and supporting the team as they scale. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, including:
Taking ownership of workforce planning to ensure projects are resourced efficiently
Managing equipment, vehicles, stock, and supplier relationships
Tracking job progress and ensuring client satisfaction
Developing and implementing streamlined systems to support growth and compliance
Liaising with clients to arrange access, approvals, and follow-up tasks
Pricing and proposals to win new business
Supporting HR/admin tasks (time sheets, training records, H&S logs)
Overseeing stock control, procurement, and scheduling of materials
Ensuring compliance with training, H&S, and company standards
About you
We're looking for someone who can bring structure, focus, and energy to the role. You'll need:
3+ years' experience in an operational, scheduling, or logistics role
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confidence working in a small, fast-paced team with plenty of responsibility
Strong IT skills - spreadsheets, job tracking tools, Google/Office
Experience coordinating between engineers, suppliers, and customers
A proactive, problem-solving mindset - calm under pressure and able to find solutions
