Woodlands School is expanding with a new state-of-the-art building designed to provide rich opportunities for our pupils to thrive. We are seeking creative Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to deliver a bespoke curriculum, especially tailored for our pupils with autism, aged 11-19, as part of our new school design.
Our school fosters a very caring and nurturing environment, with strong relationships between pupils and staff, supporting well-being and excellence in education. We value candidates with extensive experience working with children on the autism spectrum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and outside agencies.
This role involves planning activities within the class and offers significant opportunities for CPD. Woodlands School is part of the Western Learning Federation, supporting pupils with autism and complex needs, committed to enquiry, innovation, and shared learning.
