Key Responsibilities Maintain and evolve the SQL Server estate, including performance tuning and optimisation Write, review and improve complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures Support cross-functional teams with their data requirements Troubleshoot slow-running queries and address performance bottlenecks Respond to and resolve support tickets ranging from basic updates to complex data merges Monitor database performance and proactively identify improvements Contribute to the development of data integrity processes and automation tools Skills and Experience 3 years experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar data-focused role Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, indexing, and query optimisation Experience with Azure SQL and related services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics is a plus) Strong understanding of data security and governance best practices Experience with SSRS, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly Previous experience in a SaaS environment is beneficial What Youll Need to Succeed Highly self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality Strong analytical and organisational abilities Confidence working with stakeholders across departments Open-minded and adaptable to changing requirements Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Benefits Private medical insurance 25 days holiday bank holidays your birthday off Company outings and team events Professional development opportunities Interested?
