Senior Audit Manager

The Role
As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of audit services across a varied and interesting portfolio of clients. Working closely with Partners, you will lead audit teams, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest quality of service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of audit clients, including OMBs, SMEs, and larger businesses.
* Leading audits from planning through to finalisation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
* Reviewing audit files and financial statements prepared under UK GAAP.
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and proactive advice.
* Supporting Partners with business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to add value.
* Overseeing, coaching, and mentoring audit staff, ensuring continuous professional development across the team.
* Driving efficiency and quality within the audit function, contributing to process improvements and innovation.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be:
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
* Experienced in managing audits from start to finish, with a strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
* Confident in managing client relationships and able to deliver clear, practical advice.
* A strong leader, with proven experience in supervising, coaching, and developing teams.
* Commercially aware, with an eye for business development opportunities.
* Highly organised, professional, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
