Responsibilities
* Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and spreading the joy of self‑expression. Implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
* Memorable Shopping Experiences: Infuse every customer's interaction with Claire’s positivity and inclusivity, helping them discover pieces that reflect their unique personality.
* Piercing Excellence: Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
* Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair—from managing inventory and handling cash transactions to visual merchandising and coordinating promotional activities.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and provide direction and development to your team. Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results.
* Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products and services with enthusiasm, offering fashion-related tips and advice, and ensuring the store is well‑merchandised to maximize sales opportunities.
About You
* Sales‑Driven Mindset: Thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets, always looking for ways to maximize opportunities.
* Customer‑Centric Approach: Passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
* Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
* Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
* Strong Communication & Selling Skills: Engage customers, build relationships, and close the sale.
* Ability to Work Independently: Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of taking charge when needed.
Job Requirements
* Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
* Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
* High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of retail management experience.
* Capacity to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11–35kg (25–75lbs).
* Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
* Passion for providing customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
* Energy to interact with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, employees, and management.
* Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

* Passion for fashion and staying up to date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
* Ability to create a curated fashion look with products during your shift.
