Your new role In your new role of Accounts Officer/Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient recording of all income and receivable transactions. Acting as an income-focused Accounts Officer, you’ll maintain high-quality financial data that helps underpin the organisation's reporting, decision-making, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of all income streams. Processing invoices, receipts, and income transactions in line with internal policies and finance standards. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly. Supporting revenue recognition processes and assisting with reporting. Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes and supporting the wider team where required. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you must have experience in a sales ledger, accounts receivable, or income-processing finance role. You must have knowledge of revenue recognition principles and experience supporting financial reporting. You will have strong bank reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on finance role with purpose, structure, and variety. You must also be immediately available for a temporary assignment and be able to commit to 3 months.
