Service Manager Opportunity for an Automotive Dealership in Kidderminster
1. Salary: Up to £55,000 basic + OTE up to £70,000
2. Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 18:00

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Service Manager to join a leading automotive dealership in Kidderminster.
This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the service department and driving operational excellence across the site. You will be accountable for performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team development, ensuring the dealership continues to deliver exceptional standards in line with manufacturer expectations.

Key Responsibilities as a Service Manager:
17. Lead, manage, and motivate the service department to deliver exceptional customer service and performance
18. Ensure all workshop and service processes meet manufacturer and company standards
19. Monitor and drive departmental KPIs including efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
20. Manage cost control and ensure strong financial performance across the department
21. Develop and support team members through coaching, appraisals, and ongoing training
22. Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory requirements
23. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
24. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated issues effectively
25. Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, and customer experience
26. Lead workforce planning and ensure effective workload management
Requirements of the Service Manager:
27. Proven experience in a Service Manager or senior aftersales management position within the automotive industry
28. Strong knowledge of workshop operations and dealership service processes
29. Excellent leadership and people management skills
30. Highly organised with strong commercial awareness
31. Confident using systems and technology to manage performance and reporting
32. Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships
33. Ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
34. Full UK driving licence required
