Summer Job Opportunity- Yard Coordinator (Ledbury)

We’re recruiting for a Yard Coordinator in Ledbury to join a busy manufacturing site, coordinating vehicle movements and supporting production flow during peak periods. Pay & Hours:

o £15.31 per hour
*
o 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights & Weekends)
*
o Rotating Panama shift pattern (great work/life balance with built-in days off)
What you’ll be doing:
*
o Coordinating lorry bookings in and out of site with the Gatehouse
*
o Managing vehicle flow to align with production and fermentation schedules
*
o Directing traffic to the correct loading and unloading areas
*
o Monitoring and adjusting vehicle timing to avoid delays and congestion
Communicating with Production, Yard, and Logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly
*
o Logging all vehicle movements accurately for planning and traceability
*
o Ensuring site safety, security, and traffic rules are always followed
*
o Supporting improvements to yard flow and booking systems

What we’re looking for:

o Previous experience in logistics, yard planning, or traffic coordination
*
o Experience within manufacturing, food production, or agriculture (desirable)
*
o Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
*
o Confident making quick decisions in a fast-paced setting
*
o Good IT skills (scheduling systems, spreadsheets, etc.)
*
o High attention to detail and commitment to safety
*
o CPC or similar qualification (advantageous)
