We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing team and help us continue delivering smart and practical tax solutions to the clients who trust us.
This role is a great fit if you’re ready to take ownership of your own portfolio, provide expert tax advisory services and guide clients through a landscape that’s always evolving, while mentoring junior team members.
This role can be based in any of our 10 offices across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a portfolio of UK corporate tax clients including groups and complex cases
* Provide commercially focused tax advice from restructuring to R&D reliefs, share schemes and more
* Take a lead on managing deadlines, tax risk, compliance and internal workflows
* Coach and support more junior team members, helping them grow in confidence and capability
* Collaborate with EQ Partners to shape tax strategies, identify planning opportunities and add real value to our clients
* Help build lasting client relationships based on trust, expertise and consistent delivery
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
* Have UK corporate tax experience, ideally within a Top 10 professional services firm
* Strong understanding of UK corporation tax legislation
* Proven ability to manage deadlines and team supervision
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Exposure to some international tax/transferring pricing is desirable
* Experience with CCH corporate is desirable
