We’re looking for an experienced General Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a positive learning environment.
What we’re looking for:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential.
* Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally with SEN exposure.
* A confident, proactive approach to managing classrooms and engaging learners.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring learning continues smoothly.
* Supporting pupils with moderate SEN needs to access the curriculum effectively.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Delivering pre-prepared work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement.
