The Role
In this position, you will:
· Provide 1:1 and small-group support
· Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a calm and safe learning environment
· Encourage positive engagement in learning and structured daily routines
· Build trusting relationships that help pupils regulate emotions and develop resilience
· Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored, meaningful learning activities
· Promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and positive behaviour
About You
We're looking for someone who:
· Is confident managing challenging behaviours in a professional, measured way
· Remains calm, patient and consistent during heightened situations
· Has experience in SEN environments or brings transferable skills from youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring or alternative provision
· Is resilient, reliable and genuinely motivated to help young people progress
Contract Details
· Temporary - Long Term
· Full & Part time hours available
· Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm
· Pay - £14+ (depending on experience)
· Start Date - ASAP
