The Opportunity
Based in Guildford, Surrey, Optimum Golf Technologies is one of the fastest growing technology companies in the golf industry today.
Thanks to the ongoing growth of the business, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Inside Sales Business Development Representative to join our EMEA inside sales team. You will cover the DACH Region and be a fluent German speaker. You will be part of a multilingual team and have the opportunity to work with our partner brands.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Your key responsibilities
* Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calling from the UK into golf clubs within the DACH region
* Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and care to offer an outstanding experience to existing customers as well as prospective new customers looking to get the best out of Foresights Sports and Bushnell Golf technology solutions.
* Support: Work closely with the in-country field sales representative to provide them with qualified appointments as well as pipeline opportunity.
* Pipeline Development: Build and maintain your own robust sales pipeline by engaging with potential clients and identifying their needs.
* Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
* Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, account executives, and other sales team members to execute sales strategies and achieve team goals.
* Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company’s products/services, industry trends, and competitors to effectively address customer needs and objectives.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prospect interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM System.
* Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and
Qualifications and Skill
* Fluent German is essential – other languages advantageous.
* Knowledge of the golf industry or a passion of the game is preferred.
* Proven track record of working within an inside sales team.
* German Speaker.
* Trade or consumer (ideally both) sales experience.
* Strong understanding of the sales cycle.
* Experience in the golf trade or a related industry is a strong plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
* Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales management tools.
