Description: This ‘hands on’ role is for an effective, enthusiastic, dynamic, credible and experienced Production Supervisor with proven industry skills to help run a busy signage and graphics production department and team of sign makers/installers for one of the UKs largest, most successful sign companies.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate the design, production and installation teams and their workspaces safely and effectively
* Receive and interpret all briefs, then break down and allocate each job task accordingly
* Manage and optimise workloads and resources, agreeing timescales and tracking progress
* Ensure quality control is maintained during all stages of work
* Assisting with design and production work when required
* Support site visits and surveys when required
* Report all materials and stock levels
* Ensure all workspace, equipment, tools and accessories are maintained and kept clean
* Motivate the team
* Good signage product knowledge across a wide range of materials and processes
* A minimum of 5 years signage manufacturing and installation experience using printers, plotters and laminators
* Good working knowledge of Illustrator and large format RIP software
* Able to finish and apply signage to a wide range of surfaces
* Have good leadership skills. Provide support as required.
