Age UK is recruiting for a Shop Supervisor to join their fantastic team in Bognor Regis (Arun Retail Park)! Age UK's shops are the face of the charity. On high streets across the country our retail teams deliver a great shopping experience to customers while generating income for the charity, ensuring we can provide services and support to older people who need it most. Responsibilities
The successful applicant will work 20 hours per week, including every Sunday. Each Sunday the supervisor will manage the store, ensuring it showcases donations, remains tidy and accessible.
Responsibilities include supporting sales, stock rotation, organising displays, store tidying, and representing Age UK professionally while reflecting our core values.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to handle or lift bags of stock up to 10 kg.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer facing role
* Experience of cash handling
* Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10 kg
* Ability to work as part of an effective team
* Ability to work alone when needed
* Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, commitment to equal opportunities
* Flexible approach to work, including covering additional days for holidays, sickness, and participation in shop events outside normal hours

Additional Information
