Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 – £110 per day

GSL Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in Boston. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed both academically and personally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in learning
Provide additional support to pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
Support students’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
