Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. Flexibility to work at other nearby nurseries when required, with travel supported via own vehicle or Uber. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Pay: £10 - £12.55 per Hour *plus accrued holiday pay Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday. The nursery is a proud owner of Millie’s Mark, which is awarded as a special endorsement to local childcare providers that go above and beyond minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid. The nursery is situated next door to Whiteacres Medical centre, just off the B4208 Townsend Way. The nursery is accessible via Sandy’s Road. There is ample parking available. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
