Pure are delighted to be working exclusively with this successful manufacturing business in Norfolk to appoint an Operations Accountant to join them, at a key time as they enter their next phase of growth. You will report to the Site Finance Lead and you will undertake a critical role sitting within the Senior Management Team.
As Operations Accountant your primary purpose is to inform, challenge and support the site in achieving its purpose through the provision and interpretation of key management information. Focusing on;
1. Financial reporting of and insight into site cost of sales and overheads to ensure the best factory decisions and improvements are made based on accurate and insightful information.
2. Build highly effective relationships with key cross functional personnel.Support and influence management team at site to deliver conversion cost improvements.
3. Help to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across both the finance and site teams. Improving systems, processes and reporting where necessary in line with Lean principles.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant with a proven track record in the Manufacturing/FMCG sector, who has strong analytical and numerical skills to support decision making and can work closely with non-finance senior stakeholders to drive site performance.
