Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and supporting their developmental needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's development, ensuring individual needs are met.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore.
* Support the leadership team in managing nursery operations and adhering to regulatory standards.
* Drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences and well-being.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small groups of children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting activities to meet children's needs.
