About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for partnering with Services Leadership providing financial reporting, P&L analysis, planning, and forecasting. This position requires a strong accounting and analytical aptitude. This position requires the ability to multitask, collaborate at all levels of the business, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone to be in the detail but also be able to communicate on the major drivers and variances in the P&L
Salary range: $100K - $110K USD
What you'll do
1. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
2. Collaborate with the management team to improve operational and financial performance.
3. Guides cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
4. Assists in the month-end close processes and financial reporting.
5. Prepare monthly reporting package sub-schedules and P&L variance analysis.
6. Develops best practice process flows in defined area of responsibility.
7. Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis, as requested by management.
8. Creates and maintains reports for senior management and presents data to appropriate parties.
9. Prepares budget and forecasts partnering with the business and under the direction of management.
10. Prepares budget to actual comparisons analysis.
11. Provide qualitative analysis and commentary on monthly results.
12. Develops Key Performance Indicator (KPI) summary reporting and analysis.
13. Maintains financial data accuracy and integrity by in-depth analysis of financial reports and underlying data.

15. Questioning reporting of data anomalies
16. Initiating error detection controls to prevent future errors
17. Initiating error correction activities
18. Plans and manages business analysis across multiple projects and initiatives
19. Performs special assignments and analysis as requested

What you have
21. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
22. 5+ years related business experience in a medium to large size business
23. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
24. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
25. Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel.(e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
26. Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
27. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
28. Professional self-starter, able to work independently, and has strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with others.
29. Extremely detail oriented and resourceful.
30. Prior experience using SAP a plus.
31. Prior experience with services accounting, revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting a plus.
32. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and personal judgment.
