Job Description
3. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
4. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
5. Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
6. Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations while carrying out maintenance tasks.
8. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to management.
9. Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Monday - Friday - 40 Hours/Week - AM/Late Shift (06:00 - 20:00)1 in 5 Weeks - Call out Rota
The Successful Applicant
You will ideally come from a Manufacturing background, with experience in a Maintenance position, as well as:
11. Recognised qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
12. 17th / 18th Edition - Desirable
13. PLC equipment experience - Desirable
14. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.
15. Knowledge of health and safety practices in an engineering environment.
16. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
17. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
