Waters Corporation, the world's leading biotech and specialty measurement company is seeking a Cost Accountant to join the Global Operations Finance team in Wilmslow. The role supports the Finance Manager in ensuring the accuracy of material and product costs in compliance with financial controls. Coordinate efforts with operations teams to ensure accurate SAP material master data, product costing module configurations, BOMs and routings. Coordinate the annual cost roll process and actively collaborate with operations teams to drive encouraged results and maintain compliance with internal controls. Ensure accurate costing of new products and provide financial support for business cases. Perform month end activities including the reconciliation, reporting and forecasting of inventory, PPV and MUV. Control of production order and rework costs. Validate proposals for continuous improvement initiatives and track actuals to plan. Participate in the SAP S/4 HANA implementation. Experience: Proven and effective experience in product costing of manufactured products. SAP is beneficial. Proficiencies: Good written and oral communication skills are required, for example, to ensure succinct report generation, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc across the organisation. Must be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
