Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trading Specialist/buyer and production controller based in North East Lincolnshire. The Trading Specialist will be responsible for sourcing raw material, overseeing commercial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners. Responsibilities include purchasing fresh product, liaising with our production team, monitoring yields per batch to give accurate costings to ensure we are achieving accurate margins, liaising closely with existing customers, providing comprehensive support, and ensuring timely follow-ups to complete tasks and inquiries effectively.
This role requires early starts (5am) and you will be expected to be flexible on finishing times.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Communication and Customer Support to interact effectively with clients and resolve inquiries professionally
Experience in Trading and Commercial Management, preferably in fresh fish, to oversee trading activities and execute successful commercial transactions
Strong ability in Following Up to ensure timely execution of tasks and maintain efficient operations
Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends and make informed trading decisions
Adaptability and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Previous experience in trading or commercial roles is considered beneficial.
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
